This toasted marshmallow shake is the most delicious thing ever and the guy working (owner?) was super nice. Hole in the wall sort of place with an interior that could use some TLC, but clean and the food was absolutely delicious.

Dropped by here when I saw that the Mexican place nearby was closed unexpectedly. Saw the menu and was intrigued by the fact that there were two other cars in line despite the fact that the menu was literally sheets of paper behind the glass. Further intrigued by the wild boar burger. My wife got the Jack’s burger (or something like that- it’s the one with the special bbq sauce) and I got the wild boar burger and we were both shocked at how good both were. I’d come back again for those alone. The service is weak because it’s just the one guy there. The atmosphere is a bit sketchy too, likely because it’s just one guy working the whole place, lol.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I went and got the Buffalo and Elk burgers. I got a large fry and a Dr. Pepper. The Buffalo burger was absolutely amazing, and the Elk burger was certainly worth eating. I liked the fires as well. I would get the Buffalo burger over the Elk burger next time, though. Prices seemed fair in this day and age. Also, it didn't take a terribly long time to prepare the burger and fries. So I would say five stars, not one star. I even used the drive thru for this order. You have to drive directly to the window if you use this method. Next time, I'll try the ice cream or shake, too. Thanks, C&L Burger So, I went back the next day, and some of these comments were vindicated. They must have added a sauce to the Buffalo burger the first day, of which they didn't add the next day because I ordered 4 for the family and all of them were not Buffalo or "Buffalo seasoned". Same general quality, but the taste was mediocre at best. Spenr over 100 bucks, too. I sense there's definitely some food science trickery going on here. Lowered from five star to three for the mind trickery.

The burger was really good, it always is, but I think they raised the prices recently. 2 burgers and some sides were close to 50 which was much more than the last time I had eaten there just a few months prior. So my star rating is based on how good the burger is, not necessarily the value. It's not an every day burger but something to get sometimes when you have a little extra money to treat yourself.

Small restaurant. One older man working along. Burger and fries were fresh and delicious. Fast service. Lots of burger options and meats including elk, deer, ram, beef, chicken, and turkey!

TL;DR All negative reviews are price based- don’t come here if you want cheap and fast food. Go to BK next door. Elk burger is great. I drive around WA a lot with my father, and we stop at the smallest and random local food joints. We drive past this plenty on I-5 and decided to give it a try. Elk burger was amazing. Genuinely one of the best burgers I’d had in a while. They have other interesting options like ram, wild boar, venison, etc. they are simple and tasty, although I was intrigued to get the kimchi burger which sounded good. I was surprised to see just one old Asian man working the restaurant. He was extremely polite, and the service did not take too long for fresh cooked food.

This is a fun spot to hit up if you are in the neighborhood. The menu has a wide variety of items, including some unique items like Elk Burger (which was great and not too dry). The ice cream (both soft serve and regular) is tasty and a good value. The soft serve cone was huge! I couldn't eat it fast enough. Definitely enough to share with a loved one. My wife and I were pleased with all of the things we ordered: the Elk Burger with Onion Rings, Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, the Soft Serve Twist Cone and the Strawberry Milk Shake. Portion size was excellent for the price. We both left full. The staff was friendly and they have a drive thru option, which is convenient, as well as outdoor seating which is perfect when the weather is nice. Give this place a try. It's much better than the mediocre Burger King that is next door!

This unpretentious exterior holds some delicious local fast food. Cook knows what he's doing, with wild game and Paleo options. Also looks like super generous ice cream servings, if you're into that.
